Step back in time and relax.
Inside, a spacious farm-style kitchen with high ceilings and custom drapes offering a warm, rustic feel. The cozy lounge, complete with a fireplace, is perfect for relaxing on chilly winter evenings. Modern comforts blend seamlessly with the homestead’s timeless charm.
There are four bedrooms in the homestead, each with two comfortable long singles or on request, a super king.

The recently renovated “sleepout” adjacent to the homestead has a further two long singles (or super king). Enjoy a luxurious sleep with 100% wool duvets and crisp cotton sheets.
The well-appointed bathroom and toilet in the homestead is generously sized, while a second separate toilet and basin is also available. Adjacent to the sleep-out there is the “Studio” which has an additional two showers and two toilets. Complimentary ‘Real World’ products are provided in all bathrooms. These products include, handwash, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner.

Blackburn Ridge boasts a large outdoor entertaining area. The spacious covered deck allows you to take indoor dining, outdoors.
There is also a seating area and cast iron outdoor fire, along with a range of outdoor games, for example Kubbs and Croquet.

We are proud to source local produce whenever possible.
Our main meals and desserts are created by local chef Kate de Latour, featuring beautifully prepared, restaurant-quality dishes ready to heat and enjoy at the homestead. Each menu is thoughtfully designed, combining seasonal ingredients with bold, generous flavours.
Breakfast options include a simple, nutritious continental spread as well as free-range eggs and coffee from Hawthorne Coffee Roasters. There is a selection available for packed lunches, including seasonal fruit, along with a generous selection of home baking for morning and afternoon tea.
