Step back in time and relax.
Inside, a spacious farm-style kitchen with high ceilings and custom drapes offering a warm, rustic feel. The cozy lounge, complete with a fireplace, is perfect for relaxing on chilly winter evenings. Modern comforts blend seamlessly with the homestead’s timeless charm.
There are four bedrooms in the homestead, each with two comfortable long singles or on request, a super king.

The rooms are beautifully presented with mirrors, side tables and reading lights.
The recently renovated “sleepout” adjacent to the homestead has a further two long singles. Enjoy a luxurious sleep with 100% wool duvets and crisp cotton sheets.
The well-appointed bathroom and toilet is generously sized, while a second separate toilet and basin is also available. Adjacent to the sleep-out there is an ablution block with an additional two showers and two toilets. Complimentary ‘real world’ products are provided in both bathrooms. These products include, handwash, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner.

Blackburn Ridge boasts a large outdoor entertaining area. The spacious covered deck allows you to take indoor dining, outdoors.
There is also a seating area and cast iron outdoor fire, along with a range of outdoor games, for example Kubbs and Croquet.

What to expect
Meals
We are proud source local produce when we can. Three home cooked dinners and desserts will be provided with heating instructions.
Breakfast options include a simple, nutritious continental spread as well as locally sourced free-range eggs and coffee from Hawthorne Coffee Roasters. There is a selection on offer for packed lunches including seasonal fruit. A selection of home baking for morning and afternoon teas will be available.
Please advise special dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
