On day one, begin your adventure with a private farm walk, encompassing a variety of terrain with world class views of the Ruahine Ranges and out over Central Hawkes Bay.
On days two and three, switch gears with an e-bike option, allowing you to explore the area with freedom and ease. Cruise along quiet back country roads, marvel at the expansive landscapes, stop at local landmarks and charming villages along the way.
The recent renovations are in keeping with the beautiful and historic architecture of the homestead which dates back to the late 1800s.

Blackburn Ridge Homestead can be found at the heart of a unique ‘horse shoe’ shaped ridge above State Highway 50 in the Central Hawkes Bay.
The area surrounding Blackburn Ridge has been tended farmland since it’s inception in 1872 and the historic town of Ongaonga nearby is like stepping back in time, where you can almost picture the horse and carts in the street and locals going about their in period costume from years gone by.
